Flysurf Technology What is Flex-fiber?

Designed by surfers and developed by engineers. The technology Flysurfing allows to develop unique surfboards: fast, light and resistant.

Waterproof Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam, with three wooden stringers and a new external polyethylene lamination, Flex Fiber®. Vacuum joints at high temperatures, without the use of adhesives, fiberglass or resins. All this makes us count on the perfect, proven setup for boards that are easy to ride and stand up to the roughest treatment.

Flex Fiber® is the trade name for High Density Polyethylene (HDPE+), a semi-rigid plastic sheet. Its excellent buoyancy, resistance and comparatively low manufacturing costs allow you to combine the best of both worlds: the price of a soft-top, with the performance and style of the classic rigid fiberglass boards.

Also, unlike other soft boards, all our boards come equipped with a leash plug similar to that of fiber boards, which ensures a complete seal against water infiltration.
